This is the Desert Heat poker chip design. The Desert Heat inlay is set upon a Claysmith Gaming Greek Key molded poker chip, and has twelve thin stripes in bunches of three for its edge markings. The subject of the Desert Heat's inlay is four vivid colored palm trees. A Mayan sun is tucked away in the background to complete the sweltering desert design.
The chips look like they belong in Sin City itself. The Desert Heat is a fictitious hotel and casino that celebrates the heat of the desert and all the fun it promises to excited tourists. Many casinos around Las Vegas celebrate this same desert theme. Casinos such as the Mirage, Sahara, Dunes, Sands and the Desert Inn were (and continue to be) staples of Las Vegas culture.
Although the Desert Heat is a fictitious casino, it will look and play like a real casino chip in your home game. The denominations are available in 25¢, 50¢, $1, $5, $10, $25,$50, $100, $500, $1000, $5000, $10,000. It doesn't matter if you are hosting a large poker tournament with hundreds of thousands in tournament chip value or if you are playing a 25¢ – 50¢ limit game - these chips will surely heighten your gaming experience.
